Vladikavkaz Mathematical Journal (VMJ) is a scientific periodical
with four issues per year published by the Southern Mathematical Institute of
the Vladikavkaz Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences
and the Government of the Republic Northern Ossetia-Alania.
VMJ accepts the articles with new results and survey articles
in mathematics. The articles that are already published
or accepted for publication in other periodicals are not considered
by the Editorial Board as submitted. All submitted articles are
reviewed.
The article must be written in Russian or English
and carefully proof-read by the authors. The preamble
of the article must contain the title and UDC code of the article
as well as the initials and surnames of the authors, an abstract
(with no formulas), and keywords.
The title, the initials and surnames of the authors,
an abstract (with no formulas), and keywords must be given both in
Russian and in English.
The list of references is placed at the end of the article.
The list should contain the following:
for an article - the authors, complete title, source, year of
publication, volume, issue, and pages.
for a book - the authors, complete title, publisher's address,
publisher, year of publication, and overall number of pages.
References in the body of a submitted article are placed in square brackets.
The article must be signed by each of the authors
with indication of complete names, surnames, and addresses,
the place of employment and the city of its location as well as
the e-mail addresses and contact telephone numbers.
The article must be approximately at most 12 pages in A4 format.
The larger articles may be accepted by a special request or decision of
the Editorial Board.
The article should be prepared in
LaTeX in accord with the standard article style.
In typesetting it is definitely recommended to avoid using
new definitions by the author, especially those with parameters.
The common features of the macropackage must be used by default.
Also, the extra spacing commands must be eliminated.
The article should be submitted to the Editorial Office
by E-mail as files in ps, pdf, and LaTeX formats or by
a snail mail with an enclosed hard and electronic copies.
The articles with graphics are considered only after preliminary
consultation with the Editorial Office about the technicalities
of the graphic originals to be submitted.
Every article accepted for publication in VMJ
is checked by the Editorial Office and the proofs are
sent to the authors. There are no page-charges or any other payments
levied on the authors for publication.
The copyright to the journal as a whole belongs to
the Southern Mathematical Institute of
the Vladikavkaz Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences
and the Government of the Republic Northern Ossetia--Alania
and the Editorial Board of VMJ which have the exceptional right
to receive and distribute any payments related to any transfer
of the copyright on VMJ as a whole.
